Continuous At Sea Deterrent-Trident

On 10 April 2019 in the House of Commons, a full debate was held on UK deployment at sea of the UK’s nuclear WMD arsenal on Trident submarines. This is called CASD, or “Continuous At-Sea Deterrent’, which was the title of the debate, to mark the 50th anniversary of CASD, when nuclear-armed submarine HMS Resolution was launched into the River Clyde in Scotland, near Glasgow.
